Make an EOT file!
We are proud to unveil a new prototype web-based utility that makes it easy to create EOT files that you can use on your website. The seven fonts we’ve made available were provide courtesy of Ray Larabie of the Typodermic font foundry, and are licensed for you to use free-of-charge.
COMING SOON: We are working on adding a selection of commercial fonts to this site. Please note that many commercial fonts cannot be embedded into web pages under standard EULA. We are working on a shopping cart feature to allow you to quickly and easily select a desired commercial font, make an EOT version for your website, and purchase a license.
Procedures:
- Select the desired font
- Click "Create EOT"
- Enter the URL of the website(s) that will use the EOT font
- The confirmation screen will display a sample of the EOT font in use (currently only Internet Explorer version 4 or later supports EOT), along with sample HTML and @font-face CSS code
- Save the EOT font file and add the appropriate HTML and CSS @font-face code in your CSS to your web pages
